What suits us?

Amory Harris
Style: Eccentric

What suits me:
My suit is the diamond. Diamonds are said to symbolize wealth and matter. Although, as a broke student, I find this hilariously ironic. I may not be rollin in the Benjamins, but in terms of love and happiness, I top the Forbes list. The shape of the diamond is like two triangles that tesselate perfectly together and represent the love I hope to one day find. At this point, I'm a lone little triangle, but the diamond is a beautiful reminder that somewhere out there is another lonely little triangle that will make my diamond whole.

I'm not entirely sure how to describe my style... Sometimes I'm punky with crosses and sculls, other days I'm all earth tones and soft ruffles, and sometimes I love neon. You should also know that I have a bit of an addiction to Jeffrey Campbell shoes...

It really all comes down to the fact that I try to dress my figure in clothes that flatter me as much as possible. I have a long torso and long legs. The upper half of my body is kinda small; I have C cup boobs, a small rib cage, and narrow shoulders. My hips are curvy, as is my booty, but I don't have just one hip curve. Theres two wide points: one at the top of my pelvic bone and the other at the height of my actual hip joint. It can be awkward to dress sometimes...

In case you're interested, I'm originally from Flagstaff Arizona where my parents met as river guides on the Grand Canyon, but I grew up in Tahoe! The California side of course. I've grown up skiing, whitewater rafting, camping, mountain biking, backpacking, and what not. My mom used to design clothes, and she taught me how to sew on our industrial machines when I was really young. In high school I was a bit of an outcast... But more on that later if anyone is really curious. Now I'm studying to get my MBA at Chapman University!  Also, I'll be posting as WonderlandLovely just so y'all know.

Liz Pennock
♣
Style: Alternative prep

Hey there. I’m Liz Pennock, a Chapman University freshman and Southern California native. My major is essentially undecided although I’m applying to our film school as a hopeful Creative Producing major. I like to read books and listen to music and watch movies like most humans. My favorite color is black, but not in a creepy way more in a classic way. In a few words my style is alternatively preppy with polka dots and skulls and a bit of punk influence, and I also wear flats and bows sometimes. Getting dressed every day, to me, is like choosing your own adventure. My suit, which is clubs, represents mind, speech and words. Well at least according to a sketchy website online. But it’s rather true. I love to write, and I think that words are the best way to express yourself…obviously. Words are beautiful. That sounds cheesy but it's true. I’m also very into the mind and I enjoy thinking. To quote one of my favorite songs I’m always “lost in my mind.” I love stories and lots of things and I’m terrible at writing about myself. So there you have it!

My favs (favorites):

Bands: Vampire Weekend, The Shins, Noah and the Whale, The Middle East, Local Natives, Tame Impala, Wavves, Milo Greene & others

Animals: I love dogs more than people

Books: Harry Potter Series, anything by John Green. I just love to read.

Fun facts: I don’t have wisdom teeth, I play the piano, and pizza rules my life. Not really but it’s so good.

Olivia Del Rio
Style: Simple

Hearts. I love hearts. I love food. I love people. I simply love to love. Plain and simple.  I am easily assumed, I am constantly happy, with brief moments of sadness in between.
Fashion has always been a struggle for me. When I was younger I would ask my mom and brother to help me choose outfits. I arrived at college and realized I had to fend for myself. So we will see how I do. One of the reasons I struggle with fashion is my body. I have big boobs and small waist. I have realized only certain clothes fit me well, so I will try and cater my fashion choices towards women like me.

Also, I’m infatuated with the boy next door. I fell in love with my neighbor on a family vacation. Weird right? It’s crazy to think I never realized what an amazing man was living right down the street from me for more than half my life. And now this boy is my life. My boyfriend’s name is Andrew, he’s a junior at UCLA. It is difficult not seeing him all the time, but we literally started dating the week before he left for his sophomore year of college, so we are accustomed to this lifestyle. But in all honesty, distance did make the heart grow fonder. I could not be happier, Andrew and I are homies for life.

OH! My name’s Olivia. I’m a freshman public relations and advertising major at Chapman University. I am absolutely thrilled for my future.

Kelsey Dalzell
Style: Comfy casual

Hi I'm Kelsey. I'm a freshman at chapman university and currently studying broadcast journalism.
I call my style comfy casual. I hate uncomfortable things (jeans & tight shirts) and I strive to make all my outfits to look good but also feel good. I don't have a big boobs or butt and im short so at times it's hard to dress myself. I like wearing flowy or baggy things with leggings or jeggings but I try to steer clear of looking frumpy. The key is to look casual but put together. Also, I'm on a tight budget so thrift stores and f21 are my go to.
The spade represents me because I'm confident and courageous. Also I used to call the spade the "little shovel" when i was younger and I thoroughly enjoy digging up information on people and that's why I want to be a journalist!

Favorites: reading, Thai food, tacos, the beach, northern Michigan, my best friends, family, and of course SHOPPING
